Welcome to Food Ambassador! If you're out and about in the North of England and need to find somewhere to eat, we've got the place for you.
From high class eateries, to cafes for a quick lunch. We only list places we have personally eaten in, and where possible offer a comprehensive review.
We also let you know the meals we chose, recommendations and a rating between 1 and 5. 1 being McDonalds, 5 being Le Gavroche. For an explanation click 'rating criteria' on the left.

Avanti
Times are hard this week so Will has choosen a budget restaurant that offers good food and a great atmosphere at very reasonable prices. Avanti is in the Jesmond area of Newcastle and well worth a visit this week if you are counting the pennies and still fancy eating out. We particulalry recommend getting in for the happy hour between 5 and 7 on weekdays as the savings increase further and the quality does not suffer!
