Arabica coffee bar and cafe
A small sophisticated coffee bar and café in the centre of Thirsk. Arabica serves a variety of hot drinks and a smaller selection of sandwiches and cake. Arabica’s stand out quality is there free wireless broadband.
Baby Swan
Located on the second floor of the RendezVous Hotel, Skipton, this stylish restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. The Baby Swan restaurant consists of a main dining room and conservatory that looks out onto the stream.
Brown's Bar and Brasserie
Located in ‘The Light’ leisure complex, smack bang in the middle of Leeds city centre. Brown’s is a sophisticated restaurant, serving a variety of fairly traditional dishes.
Blue Bar and Grill
Blue is one part of a trio: Blue is the bar and grill, PanAm (Pan American Club) is a café and Baby Blue is a nightclub situated below Blue. Blue has a café bar area on the ground floor and a restaurant area upstairs. All three are situated at the Albert Dock area in Liverpool.
Casbah
A gastro café on the 1st floor of Redbrick mill, a kind of upmarket home ware shopping centre. One of three places to eat in Redbrick Mill, this café sells sandwiches, salads, soups etc along with an impressive array of deserts.
Chimes
Small Café wine bar serving a small selection of panini’s, salads and jacket potatoes. There was also a 3 course Christmas dinner on offer. Friendly, nice food, great service and very reasonable.
Flatbread Cafe
Flatbread Café is a relatively new flat bread restaurant in the centre of Newcastle. Serving dishes from a range of countries such as Morocco, Lebanon, Iran, Thailand and Greece.
Fuego!
An Italian restaurant in Prenton - the Wirral area of Merseyside. Fuego serves up some appetising pizza and pasta’s, while putting on an attractive set Christmas menu during our visit.
Golden Fleece
The Golden Fleece in Thirsk appears from the outside to be a typical pub restaurant, but inside there is an upmarket restaurant serving a range of seasonal cuisine from wood pigeon to rogan josh.
Gourmet Burger Kitchen
Gourmet Burger Kitchen is an up market burger bar, that celebrates its use of local produce and organic high quality meat but does offer some vegetarian options. You have to order at the bar but food and drinks are bought to your table. Something different in the Greek Street area of Leeds city centre.
Hung Moey
Hung Moey Is a typical English version of Chinese restaurant, serving the usual sweet and sour, Szechwan etc. Hung Moey Also has a take away at the front, serving the same menu as the restaurant. Hung Moey Is set in the very centre of Thirsk, but tucked away in the corner of the town square.
La Gabbia
A friendly vibrant Italian restaurant set in the Ouseburn area of Newcastle. La Gabbia serves an array of drinks and traditional Italian food.

La Mancha is a traditional tapas bar and restaurant, located along the vibrant Sheffield nightspot – West Street.

La Tapas is quaint tapas bar and restaurant situated on St Georges terrace, Jesmond. La Tapas serves up traditional Spanish tapas in a quiet relaxed setting.

A café / greasy spoon based in the housing complex ‘Latham Court’ on Laurel Road, just out side the Liverpool city centre. The Latham Court Café serves up some traditional greasy burgers etc. but also offers tasty sandwiches.

Cute little Café in Woolton near Liverpool. Lets Eat serves breakfast, lunch, coffees, home-made cakes. Friendly staff, lots of choice and a relaxing atmosphere.
Mersey Farm
Mersey Farm in Ashton On Mersey sells itself as a contemporary dining and drinking experience. This pub restaurant serves some traditional meals as well as some cuisine from further afield.
Paulo's
A very traditional, slightly old fashioned English style restaurant serving Italian dishes. Located in the 'Old Town' area of Hull's city centre.
Rags Hotel Bar and Restaurant
Rags Hotel and Restaurant in Bridlington lies right by the sea front and Bridlington Spa. Rags has a bar small restaurant and a few rooms for hire. The restaurant serves English cuisine focusing on local seasonal produce, particularly the seafood.
Royal Station Hotel
Restaurant in the Royal Station Hotel, located on Ferensway in Hull city centre. The Royal Station serves traditional English dishes with a couple of deviations into more exotic cuisines
Sanam's
Centrally located and near the free car park (as of 6pm). Don't be perturbed by this shoddy looking exterior. A cheap and cheerful authentic Indian restaurant, which will leave you with a full belly and ready to sample the local bars of Elland.
Suites Hotel Knowsley
Suites has a hotel on the Knowsley business park, which has gym, swimming pool and restaurant. The restaurant serves a variety of dishes including pastas and risottos s well as some traditional English fare.
The Blake Head Vegetarian Cafe
A quaint bookshop joined to a friendly café, set in the middle of the historic city of York. Serving a range of cakes and biscuits, hot and cold drinks, and lunchtime meals.
The Eye On The Tyne
The Eye on The Tyne is a modern bar/restaurant serving traditional English cuisine with a couple of options from further afield. Situated on Newcastle’s vibrant Quayside The Eye On The Tyne has a quieter restaurant area, and more relaxed bar area and even a take away option with fresh sandwiches on offer.

A chic bar set in what seams to be an old church, The Parish really stands out in York's city centre. Serving standard 'city bar' food, the only thing that stands out about this bar is its appearance.

Large pub/ hotel situated in the heart of residential Goole seemed a popular lunchtime jaunt for the professionals of the town.

A pub with a certain distinction and class compared to some of the others in its vicinity. Although not cheap, if you're after a casual pub meal, this is worth a visit..

Little Café in Sowerby town centre. The Wharf serves a great range of locally produced food - many organic produce and a place which clearly values quality food. Serving breakfasts, panini’s, soup, bagels and salads. Also offers a great range of hot beverages including freshly ground coffee and indulgent hot chocolates.

To the North of Scarborough, Three Jolly Sailors is a gastro pub serving some well cooked traditional dishes. With a lovely outside seating area for summer and homely atmosphere inside.

A cafe situated centrally in the scenic spa town of Harrogate, Weetons confirms that Harrogate boasts great local produce of both meats and dairies in this shop come diner.

A small authentic Chinese restaurant located centrally along the high street on Austhrope road, East Leeds, which comes well recommended by the locals.
Wildes Wine Bar
A quaint little restaurant/wine bar on the corner of one of Yorks many cobbled streets. Wildes serves up a variety of dishes at reasonable prices.
